Educational Achievements

During 2014, all the staff at CHVH undertook continuing professional development to update and improve their knowledge in order to provide a continuing high level of care to our clients and patients.

Dr Blair completed his AQIS accreditation (to transport animals overseas), orthopaedic surgery and plating techniques as well as further education on small animal dental and tooth restoration.

Next year Dr Vicky will be studying ophthalmology which will greatly increase her knowledge on our patient’s eyes and how to treat the problems we see.
Nurse Tonia completed her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing and Nurse Vanessa completed the Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (General Practice) as well as a Pain Management Course and became an accredited microchip implanter. Nurse Cathy studied radiography and Nurse Darlene learnt more about Pathology.
